that’s her daughter. so chubbily wobbily cute, right? i feel like pinching her cheekssss! see, so unfair, you can’t even see any flabs or stretch marks on her. same goes for heidi klum although age is catching up on heidi.

this is miranda kerr, another VS model and she is currently with orlando bloom.

i don’t know why but my eyes stay glued to my tv whenever i am watching the VS runway shows. the VS ladies are absolutely stunning, they are skinny but they have boobs and butts. and the weird thing is, you don’t get jealous and unhappy about how imperfect you are in comparison to them. they are like some greek goddesses who descended from above. who in the right mind, would compare himself/herself to God, right? plus, they can get away with blowing kisses and winking at the camera like no other women.

We apologise for the hiatus. Have been spending the past few weeks ironing out some issues. Well, we can only say that we wasted some time going round in circles and putting our faith on the wrong people.

But it’s okay. We have already picked ourselves up and gotten on the right track. We have a whole lot of gorgeous clothes up in the queue! The samples will be arriving in early Feb, but the china side will be having a long break for Lunar New Year until Mar.

sigh… as if the problems we are facing are not troubling enough. God…

Here’s what we plan to do to the Grecian Studded Dress:

1) Inner tube lookalike in between the boobs to be same colour as the dress

2) Elastic band as the back

3) Inner lining to be the same colour as the dress

4) Thicker lining

However, for points 3 & 4, our supplier may not be able to do it due to material availability or price constraints.

I used to think that suppliers would be able to replicate whatever we see on photos into the real thing. But apparently, this is not the case. We have met our share of suppliers, quite a number in fact, telling us that they can’t do this, they can’t do that. Of cos we have also met a supplier who told us, she CAN do this, she CAN do that. But apparently, all she delivered was trash.

I even did up the preview photos to be posted. but seems like the photos have to take a backseat now while we hunt for other suppliers to re-do the samples for us.

2010 is coming in another 3.5 days. Well i think 2009 is quite a sucky year for me.

i) Met the wrong guy

ii) Failed a module (by 2 freaking marks!!!) though it was my second attempt

iii) Some uncertainty about my job (may be outsourced)

iv) Slow business

Pray hard that 2010 will be a better year for me cos of the fact that it’s my final year in the monstrous SIM/UOL course. Let’s hope that there will rainbows shining down my path, cutesy birds chirping and adorable bunnies hopping along the way. And we hope that our designs will be well received, and that our suppliers will not give us shit.

I swear that every minute, i am almost close to tears. This blogshop is killing me bit by bit. I am sorry for such a negative post, but I really can’t help it. One supplier of ours promised us the moon and the stars but it’s all BULLSHIT!!! She gave us samples that are god damn motherfucking lousy quality that nobody would want them even if they were free. DAMN DAMN DAMN! I feel so much like snapping off her neck!

For the past couple of days, we were distributing flyers at Expo & Orchard and it’s really not easy. One girl in particular shrieked at the sight of our flyer, as though the flyer had some deadly virus or is a hideous looking monster waiting to pounce on her. *angry*

I am really tired. It’s like why the hell are we subjecting ourselves to all these worries and unhappiness by starting up the blogshop. Even when we manufacture our own designs, we are always worried that someone else might be manufacturing the same designs. It did crossed our minds to wind down the blogshop, several times in fact. But it’s just a thought, and I guess we would never ever have the heart to do it.

Is there really a God up there? Is there really a God up there who can help us? I know I sound silly but I am really desperate. Don’t think anyone would really understand, but oh well.

Our first self manufactured dress inspired by Lipsy.

This dress is sure to wow the crowds with the intricately hand sewn studs at the neckline. The gorgeous creamy hue flatters all skin tones and exudes stunning grecian vibes. We’ve added an inner layer at the bust to make it less revealing and more wearable, but you can unpick the seams if you are feeling a lil’ more adventurous!

Our flea stall plus some lelong items at the SMU Fashionista Flea on 12 Dec. The bestie was complaining about the almost non existent anti-shake function of my > 5 year old digicam.

Not much crowd at the SMU flea so we were basically sitting there and gossiping haha.

We dropped by our supplier’s shop yesterday evening with hopes of good news regarding our self manufactured designs, unfortunately… …

sigh…

SIGH…

the thing is, even the supplier does not know if the design has been manufactured or not… the factory had a sudden influx of orders and it seems like they are too busy to manufacture our samples. to think that our placed our samples as the first to be manufactured. it’s all the manufacturer’s fault!!! ROOAAAARRRRRRRRRR >:(

i can’t help but feel so god damn bloody fucking disappointed…

this whole blogshop is so not easy. there are 101 10001 things to be done with that measly 24 hours a day. yea i know it’s not like we have 56034789723 orders to fulfill like BC, HVV & AE. but that’s precisely the point. we are not famous, hence there’s so much more we’ve got to make known our existence and buy from us. and last night, while we were hunting for suppliers, there was one who questioned me if we have the ability to sell all the manufactured pieces. i was struggling inside, trying to find an answer.

anyway i think i am terribly fucked cos i have been neglecting my studies. but to be fair, studying is not my interest and it never will be.

We will be at the Fashionista Flea at SMU this coming Saturday! *excited*
